Welcome to The Holly Room

The Holly Room has been designed for children aged up to 2 years. This is a lovely large open plan room which plenty of natural light and space allowing your baby the freedom to explore. Nursery staff interact with the children using sand, water, paint, various art activities, musical instruments, construction, books, puzzles and treasure baskets. Along with walks in the local area, the children have plenty opportunity for outside activities in the large nursery garden and play area.

At the end of your child’s nursery day, you can expect to have verbal feedback from staff regarding your child’s day but you will also receive a daily diary with information written in it such what your child did that day, what they had to eat, sleep times etc. Parents are welcome to add their own reports to this for staff to find out what your child did over the weekend. 

The ratio in the Holly Room is one adult for every three children. These are guidelines set by the Scottish Care Commission.
